Edit summary: The motivation for this edit is rather complicated, therefore placed on Talk:Hamas#The statement about ‘1967 borders’ on 14Feb2026, inviting for objections in advance, which haven’t come. A summary of that motivation might be: The old sentence (..acquiescing..), because of it being placed directly after sentence 'Hamas...initially sought…', implies that Hamas in 2005 has restricted their ultimate goal to only a state in 1967 borders, but this is not the statement of the 3 quoted ref sources.
